Hi, I'm Katrina

I am a mom, educator, kinesiologist and now a Functional medicine Certified Health Coach. 

My journey to becoming a health coach began after a long recovery following a motor vehicle accident that put a screaming halt on my life, my career, being a mom, and most importantly, being Me! 

I became depressed and felt like I had lost my purpose in life. This accident changed me, and I did not like who I was becoming. 

During this time, I turned more to natural healing, physically, mentally and emotionally. Nature was, and is, my serenity. I also discovered the power of essential oils.

I knew I would not be returning to my pre-accident position. After investing in several personal development programs, I knew I wanted to regain my purpose in life and serve others again.

While taking the health coaching certification course and learning more about behavioural change, positive psychology, mind-body connection and the importance of food, I regained control of my life again. 

I started seeing positive changes by using nature for relaxation and exercise, cleaning up my diet, eliminating many toxins, and following the functional medicine model. 

Now I want to continue my journey of helping others help themselves holistically and guide them to sustainable healthy lifestyles and behavioural changes they desire and deserve. 

What is Functional Medicine?

Functional Medicine (FM) is a wellness approach that looks at the whole person and gets to the root cause of the illness, not just the symptoms. It is holistic, personalized, client-centred, collaborative and science-based. It is about using healthy, sustainable lifestyle factors for optimal wellness.
